JULES
JULES THE BRAZEN ONE - Brazen Productions was started by former freelance producer Jules Hussey in order to develop projects with and about autistic, neurodiverse, and disabled creatives. It is grounded in Jules’ own lived experience and her ongoing support of an older sibling with learning disabilities and was also formed to make the most of her memorable surname!
ANNIE
HEAD OF DEVELOPMENT - Annie Grace first worked with Jules in post-production on a BBC drama in 2021. Having demonstrated her organisational skills Annie joined Brazen as an assistant. She then began to reveal her own writing skills and she now works to develop new and established writers across the Brazen slate.
JESS
ACCESS CONSULTANT - Jess spent a decade as a multi-disciplinary theatre-maker, writer, director and producer. Her work specialises in collaboration with disabled, Deaf, LD, autistic and ND artists and contributors, and other marginalised groups. The art Jess makes is joyful, disruptive, inclusive and eclectic. Jess is neurodivergent, a Total Theatre award winner, and hails from Croydon.
OLLIE
SCRIPT EXECUTIVE - Oliver Grieve is an experienced freelance Script Editor, with credits such as Phoenix Rise, Ralph & Katie, Deadline, The Luminaries, and The Crown. As a deaf, queer creative, he is a keen advocate for accessibility and visibility throughout the industry, and has worked on several schemes to support up-and-coming disabled writers for Film4 and the BFI.
